
On December 31st, Zhuji Ancient Lane in Nanxiong, Guangdong, with a length of 699 meters and a history of over 2000 years, came to Qingyuan Gulong Gorge to perform the "Ancient Dragon Festival". It is reported that a total of 2019 tourists were recruited to participate in this dragon dance event, dancing this giant dragon with dragon dancers from Zhuji Ancient Lane to welcome the arrival of 2019.

The Zhuji Ancient Lane Ancient Dragon, also known as the "99 Section Dragon," has 99 sections on its body, 699 meters in length, a diameter of 2 meters, and a weight of over 500 kilograms. The dragon head alone weighs 40 kilograms, requiring 200 people to dance. With replacement members and drummers, the entire dragon team has over 300 members.

It is reported that the dragon starts from the main waterfall of the Gulong Nine Waterfalls, Yunlong Waterfall, and dances upwards in the form of a coiled dragon. After completing the dragon coiling under the waterfall, the giant dragon began to dance towards the UFO glass platform of Gulong Gorge.

The second group of dragon dancers held dragon poles, raised their bodies, followed the dragon head, and danced along the winding mountain path towards the glass platform. Dragon dance on the UFO platform, with long dragons flying on the platform. The dragon dancer lifted the dragon head and jumped and ran on the platform.

The third group of dragon dancers replaced the second group and began dancing the giant dragon onto the glass bridge. The dragon dancer holds a giant dragon and dances in the cloud covered bridge, accompanied by drum music. Through the movement and posture changes of the human body, they complete the dragon's movements and routines such as thrusting, jumping, flipping, rolling, and playing.

Many tourists take photos with the giant dragon on the platform, touching the dragon head and body, allowing the ancient dragon to bring themselves a happy and beautiful meaning.
